Privacy
Short version: this site measures nothing unless you allow it. A small banner asks once; if you decline (or never answer), no analytics runs, no analytics cookies are set, and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind at the bottom of this page.
Who runs this site
This site is run by Adam Tibi, an individual based in London, United Kingdom. For everything described on this page, I am the data controller. There is no company, no team and no third party deciding what happens to it on my behalf.
Analytics, only with your permission
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand what is worth writing more of: which pages get read, roughly how long readers stay, which country a visit comes from, how you arrived (a search engine, LinkedIn, a link), and whether you have visited before. That is the full list: there is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and nothing here is ever sold or shared beyond Google processing the measurements. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies (named “_ga” and similar) that last up to two years; their only job here is telling a returning reader from a new one. If you decline, the analytics script is never even loaded; nothing is collected and no analytics cookie is set.
What this site stores regardless
Two small preferences live in your browser’s own storage and never leave it: your light-or-dark theme choice, and your answer to the consent banner (so it does not ask again). Neither is a cookie in the tracking sense; they are not transmitted anywhere.
The host
This site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Like any web host, Azure records standard request information (such as IP address, timestamp and the page requested) at the platform level in order to serve pages and protect the service. I do not build reports from it, and it is not linked to anything else.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used.
I would rather be straight with you about what that means here than recite the list and leave it. This site has no accounts, no sign-up and no comment box; nothing on it asks for your name, and the analytics described above arrive already anonymous. So in almost every case there is genuinely nothing individual for me to look up, hand back or erase: not because a request would be refused, but because it was never collected. The control that actually does something is the consent choice below, and it stays yours to change.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (opens in a new tab); in the European Union it is the supervisory authority for the country you live in. Raising it with me first is welcome, and the ICO would rather you did, but nothing requires it.
Change or withdraw your consent
You can change your answer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops all collection immediately; the button below clears your stored choice and asks again. Cookies that Google Analytics set while consent was active can be removed through your browser’s own cookie settings.

Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date below moves. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the honest signal: if it has not moved, nothing here has.
